Jew in New York

When I landed in NY we went into waiting hall in front of the immigration desks.
After 20 minutes of waiting a another group of people arrived from another plain.
5 minutes later a girl came to one of the ground attendants and ask him to call her brother, who stood in the wrong line.
The guy, a nice American man, was exited to help. he ask her politely for her brother name and she answer- Jew.
This will be a good time to tell that she was Asian woman that had no problem with screaming loudly in the hall.
The guy stood, a bit shocked and ask- what? are you sure? and you want me to call him? I can't call Jew just like that.
after few seconds of- no- please- yes- no, they got to the resolution that she can call her brother, Ju.
After 5 min. the American guy told the all story, very quietly, to another ground attendant, and was very proud of him self, and vary happy that he didn't shout- JEW.

and me, I thought he was very sensitive for all the jewish people.
